Sukie is that cheeky little minx that kept turning the kettle off every time polly put it on. It is also the name of an indie pop band who have a cheery 7" record out called 'Pink-a-Pade' on New Slang Records. There's a Cribs thing happening there although not quite as laddish sounding. A bit more poppy and easy going. Ltd to 500 innit.SUKIE play perfect indie-pop using a range of sounds from modern day Cribs-esque in-your-face anthems, the confident swagger of The Strokes and throwing diverse influences such as Kinks, Django Reindhart, and Elliott Smith into the mix. The resulting sound, coupled with a brilliantly charming live set, has already caught the attention of Huw Stephens, Jo Whiley and Steve Lamacq, and SUKIE were recently asked to record their first session at Maida Vale for BBC Introducing. Limited to 500 copies on 7".

Uptempo and fun song. Although people probably see it as generic Cribs-esque indie theres more to it than that.
Much more of a summer happy vibe and a bit of dance. plus sticks in your head for days!!
