Wermut: Together (Enfant Terrible) 7" from the intriguing Dutch imprint, this was recorded in 2003 but sounds like could have been recorded in 1983. A male/female duo intone over a two finger keyboard refrain, synthetic handclaps and a mood that's almost cold war/apocalypse, not least in it's intentional off-key singing and Numan-esque coldness. The black and white sleeve, the one word titles (the flip is called Away) and the faux-explosion that opens the flipside sums up the fear and nostalgia of our once fearful past. If you like the Dutch Trumpett label and all things eighties and electro-pop then you'll more that thrill to this.Label: Enfant Terrible
