Hugh Frost aka Sportsday Megaphone was discovered by BBC Radio 1’s Rob da Bank in 2007.
He debuted in 2007 with a low key digital-only release. The ‘Less & Less EP’ was so popular that Sunday Best released it on 7” a few months later to satisfy demand. It’s now sold out.New single ‘L.A.’ was inspired by the 3 months Hugh spent there working as a graphic designer for American Apparel. There he experienced first hand the dead, the mad and the homeless on the streets of one of the world’s richest cities. By stark contrast, at the opposite end of the social spectrum, sit the rich and famous of ‘la-la land’ and the church of scientology - a group that, in Hugh’s eyes, are turning away from the humanitarian aspects of other religions.
