Unsure about this Italians Do It Better label. I reckon it's a bit...dubious. That Invisible Conga People 12" thang was sublime, really trippy, but this new job by Rubies Ft. Feist is perplexing me slightly. I like the pulsing heavenly vibe about it & could imagine tapping my footsies after a couple of shandies but i'd rather just get my Sister Sledge, Three Degrees, Donna Summer & Pointer Sisters records out and dance to them. Oh! They're not COOL are they? Hmmmmn. Call me a cynic but that fella who used to champion loads of spiky art noise on Troubleman is having a bit of a laugh at your wallets expense here. Sure you'd get much more fun hunting for crackly chart gems in a charity shop/thrift store. Or is this in existence cos only super rich collectors called Alfonso can afford to buy original Italo Disco classics. Sure, this is possibly the bees knees for the right set of ears IE coked up NY fashionistas on the pull......and what a waste of plastic too! One sided 12"s are just bloody indulgent & ridiculous. Have you no shame? 'I Feel Electric' is remixed by TieDye. I'd rather Donna Summer remix this one personally. He knows how to get a crowd going the lunatic......Italians' is pressing up another batch, this one sided wax will be in massive demand: A limited edition TIEDYE remix of the first single from RUBIES' Explode From The Center album, featuring vocals from megastar FEIST. One-sided 12-inch release.
