Ten Kens are a new signing to Fat Cat with their debut UK 7" called 'Bear Fight'. Do you know Ten Kens? Do you know one Ken? I have to say I personally don't know any Kenneth's. Sure we sell to a few here but I wouldn't say they're friends. Shite aside this Toronto bunch of lads tread a similar path as Broken Social Scene we reckon. Tasty big epic balls out rock with more spirit than a bag lady's handbag.

Debut single from this exciting Toronto based four-piece recalling the likes of Black Mountain, Pink Mountaintops, Liars and Black Heart Procession.
Showcasing two sides of an idiosyncratic modern rock band, this double A-side 7” (and digital download) is also the first fruit to be unveiled from their eponymously titled debut LP, slated for an Autumn 2008 release.
Lyrically oblique or cryptic, suggesting worlds of possibility, Ten Kens’ music is by turns introspective and belligerent, shot through with a pensive air and a contrary swagger, relayed via cavernous reverb.   Currently playing shows non-stop in and around their native Toronto, Ten Kens are set to widen their remit for the release of the album, with US and European tours tentatively scheduled for the albums release.
