Joan As Policewoman - To Survive

‘Real Life’ brought Joan Wasser out of the shadows and established her as that rare thing; a truly unique and original voice. Songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist, Joan has bewitched fans across Europe and the US over the last two years and is set to garner a wealth of new devotees with ‘To Survive’.
‘To Survive’ is an album of unashamedly heartfelt songs - in Joan’s words, “I am always trying to dig deeper into the emotional experience. I want to access the most honest place I can, distill it and present it in a way that makes sense musically.”
Joan and her band performed a sold out intimate showcase at the Roundhouse Freedom Studios in mid April, garnering rave reviews.  Joan spent five days in the UK doing promo, performing ‘To Be Loved’ for Loose Ends, the Marc Riley Show, John Kennedy and The Verb.
Full UK tour in June with festival appearances to follow.
The vinyl edition of ‘To Survive’ is limited to 500 copies pressed on heavyweight vinyl and includes a free poster and CD copy of the album.
