Some more music from Japan. May as well change our name to Japanese records these days..... It's a CD by Broken Haze called 'Rain System' and it's 15 tracks of smashing electronica along with a bonus DVD featuring some other stuff (not sure what is on that!). It's been ages since I've heard anything like this. The opener sounds like a track from the debut Ghislain Poirier album on Chocolate Industries. In fact the whole album has a general feel of that Choc Industries/ Schematicness about it. Proof of the pudding is the Richard Devine mix on here, but there's also mixes from Machine Drum and Com.A. 15 tracks of big chunky electronic hip hop ala Prefuse, Machine Drum etc. It's chunky alright!! this is nothing new at all but i's done really well and it's actually really nice to here this kind of thing again. A really strong album if you're after my opinion and if you've made it this far then I presume you do (or you're extremely bored).New electronica hip hop breakbeats

broken haze is the alias of keisuke ito, a Japanese experimental electronica hip-hop producer whose
fururistic music is composed with glitchy digital noise, chopped melody, industrial drum sound, and dark
cinematic ambience.
after offering several works for some compilations, he released instrumental E.P called "phase.01" and one
of the track “stained slash” became underground classic of japanese abstract music scene.
He also offered some techno tracks to Asian Dynasty Records. His remix work(hyper marriage blue raid
slasher remix) became top 5 of iTunes Store in Japan.
