Acid Jazz Records latest signing, Birmingham classic mod quartet The
Elements fantastic debut single 'Caught In A Storm'. The band, who
feature
sometime Ocean Colour Scene members Andy Bennett and Tim
Jaques, are supporting The Inspiral Carpets at the Shepherds Bush
Empire and have
added a whole host of gigs and radio sessions to
launch their forthcoming album. 'Caught In A Storm' is an anthemic
guitar belter that's already a firm
favourite at the band's live
shows - a classic mix of fierce guitars, a thunderous rhythm section
and sweet vocal harmonies. This explosive track is complimented by the
melodic B-side, 'Handle On Love'. A track as exciting as 'Caught In A
Storm' could surely be
the spark that lights the touch paper for The Elements in 2008.
