A.Human - Third Hand Prophecy

Third Hand Prophecy by A.Human

A. Human are the new breed. Dirty. Strange. Slightly deranged. And very real. Be prepared to get hooked on their full on electro-androgyny rock fronted by a Shakespearean-esque storyteller singer who tells tales of fantasy and reality in the same sex fluid dripping breath. One thing’s for sure - A. Human aren’t for the dicky hearted but, like all addictively hedonistic things in life, that’s what makes them so great.
The debut album by A.Human has been produced by Tim Holmes (Spiritualized, Death In Vegas, Primal Scream) and ingeniously couples Dave Human’s literary oddball ramblings with deep, pulsing, analogue basslines, and razorsharp guitars. The finished product, ‘Third Hand Prophecy’, is an 11 tracker of synth and bass laden shock ‘n’ roll that’s ready to assault dancefloors. From the creepily clever cover of America’s ‘Horse With No Name’, with 80’s dementia keyboards that hit you right between the sex glands, to recent single ‘Black Moon’, which really encapsulates Dave’s Brothers Grim-esque story telling, their sound is a one in a million mutation that makes sense.
Live they are captivating and are an entity not to be missed. They have recently supported Art Brut on tour and also Infadels and soon to be supporting The Human League’s homecoming gig at the launch of Sheffield Ritzy in April plus further dates throughout April, May and into the festival season.
