Originally formed in the summer of 2002, and taking their name from an obscure Sam Peckinpah film reference, US Christmas (or USX) has steadily evolved into a full-blown psychedelic space rock assault.
Eat The Low Dogs is very loud, loose and free music in a nasty psychedelic vein, mixing dirge, gooey sludge metal and blues.
So far they’ve concocted two self-released CDr’s, a proper full length titled Salt The Wound (R.A.I.G, 2005) and a self-titled 12 inch (their first release with Neurot Recordings).
lNow a five-piece unit of Matt Johnson (theremin, guitar), Nate Hall (guitar, vox), Tim Greene (drums), John Presnell (bass), Chad Davis (synth, guitar) and Ben Teeter (synth, keys, blips).

- "U.S. CHRISTMAS, you see, are miles from stoner rock. Stoner rock is in a big glitzy record store in a mall somewhere in a N.C. city like Charlotte. U.S. CHRISTMAS are way outside the mall. This, my friends, is the stuff of darkness, but of real human darkness...Stoner rock, my ass, there isn’t a genre that can hold a beast like this." - Ray Dorsey/Chaos Realm
