'Don't Know Any Better' say Puressence. If I didn't know any better I'd say i'd been manhandled off to musical hell and been shat on by the Devil. This new CD single from the underachieving Manc stalwarts starts off with anthemic Coldplay-lite shades and then just gets a whole lot worse when the gently warbling mum-fest vocals hit me like a soggy flannel smelling of gorgonzola. No really, i'd have to have my head filled with Peter Sutcliffe's used shaving foam & fresh dog baz rather than suffer this atrocity ever again. The kind of music Simon Cowell serenades "the ladies" to, no joke. Makes Keane sound like Converge even! Thanks Phil, for placing this evil in my pile. My CD player has just had an aneurysm. 7", CD & DVD (why the FUCK you'd want a DVD of this......) on Reaction. Well, they got one from me!Manchester's finest return with single two taken from their acclaimed album 'Don't Forget To Remember'. released on three limited edition formats each containing exclusive material & is a must for the band's loyal & dedicated fanbase. A recent number 1 in Greece & with scheduled Radio 2/XFM/6 Music plays/ sessions, this track is shaping up to being the band's biggest hit to-date.
