After that nonsense, the savviest lady in electro, Andrea Parker has her classic DJ Godfather collaboration 'Freaky Bitches' re-jigged by forward thinking funk technicians such as Miami's Alpha 606, Kero, Lothian's Wee DJs & twisted Irishman Ed Devane. I've got stuff by all these people in my creaking cupboard of vinyl heaven back home and obviously they're all gonna show 'nuff respect to the first lady's own meisterwork. It's a dark, techy, itchy, sub-bassy, futuristic, grooving electro odyssey, very techy & pioneering with a purist sensibility. The Alpha 606 mix has some amazing percussion sounds especially & the Wee Djs mix is just awesome, proper frantic breaking techno'lectro with mad belching bass & all kinds of fizzing things twatting you in the face. other mixes are quite typical of their creators so you've got 4 moods, 1 common goal. "To jack your feet, music is soulfood, you gotta eat" I just invented that....

lAndrea Parker’s ’Freaky Bitches’, a collaboration with Miami bass innovators DJ Assault and DJ Godfather was the first release to launch the label. Now ’Freaky Bitches’ gets worked-over from four heavyweights of today’s bass scene.

lMiami’s Alpha 606 is the first to step up to the challenge with his Perrata Remix. Starting off dark and brooding, the electro beats are interwoven with live drum patterns, percussion and old skool synths, before the stripped breakdown showcases his signature Cuban influenced style, pressing all the right buttons for the dancefloor.
lKero is next up to the podium with a squelching, relentless monster to finish off the A side. With over 20 releases on established labels like Ghostly, and Shitkatapult, as well as his own Detroit Underground Records it’s no surprise that Kero delivers the goods.
lWe’re back in Europe for the B side with Edinburgh’s weedjs and Irish born Ed Devane. First theweedjs Touchin’ Boobs Remix boasts a massive sub bass under resonating frequencies with mashed up beats true weedjs style.
lThen just when you thought it couldn’t get any more twisted, Ed Devane presents his Tricked Out Remix. This is
electronic experimentation at it’s finest. Cut up and spliced into a sonic waterfall, this is fantastically unpredictable to the end.
