Pub: Making Tracx.4 (Ampoule) Fourth edition in their mini Cd series has my favourite Scot's exponent of psychedelic Techno or methtronica as I like to call it. Going for a even more expansive, open lensed blissout, these two tracks employ a more experimental approach that takes in smudged tones, glistening, glass like chimes with undertones of hummed vocal notes. On the second track in particular, the sounds are more like gathering storm clouds, dark and foreboding, as opposed to the dusk of a summer day of Pub's general state of play. Executed with the usual flair and pen ache, this is probably the best of the series so far. I think the works just seem to get better with every release.dim cayi
