"Burnt Out Landscapes" is a 27 track compilation CD which gathers together all of The Manhattan Love Suicides recordings from their 4 limited edition singles , plus totally remastered U.S radio session tracks , a handful of recordings which have up to now only been available on vinyl or hard to find compilations and finally , 4 brand new tracks not available elsewhere. An absolutely essential collection if you love the sounds of The Jesus And Mary Chain , early My Bloody Valentine , 1960's Girls In The Garage compilations , lo fi fuzzed out female fronted noise pop played at maximum volume and delivered with no frills but a truckload of attitude. Just back from a short stint in the USA , The Manhattan Love Suicides will be playing live with The Fischers in London at Notting Hill Arts Club on Saturday 10th May , then at the Indie Tracks Festival on 26th/27th July before heading back out to the U.S in August to play the Athens Popfest in Georgia aswell as several more U.S dates TBC.
