Some stuff arrived from Russia the other day. Some of it are bands we've heard of like Rapoon, Beequeen, Daniel Menche and Muslimgauze. Some if it we've not heard of.... like Angie Damage with a 3 track CD single called Nicotine Tongue. This is pure pop rock like Blondie or something.... a possible whiff of Transvision Vamp cakes my ears. It all makes me want to change my name to Phil Damaged.NEW Four cold melancholic pop hymns which bring to mind the new wave / post-punk 's golden days. The music is comparable to some Joy Division, earliest New Order, The Cure, Clan Of Xymox, early 4AD music... Rough post-punk guitars, cold new waveish keyb INTUITION
