What the label says:

Yeti have been around for about 2 years now and feature ex Libertine John Hassall, this is the fisrt single to be taken from their debut album which will follow in the Summer. With a sturdy disregard for the angular-centric, over-produced disco rock that has dominated London's music scene over the past few years, Yeti has stayed true to their original convictions and served audiences around the world with a much-needed dose of spontaneous, harmony-driven psychedelic pop. Marrying exquisite musicianship and songwriting that cuts straight to the core, Yeti's sound is at once timeless and effortless. Following another round of successful tours in Japan, Europe (supporting Oasis), America and the UK, Yeti camped out at Eastcote Studios to record their long-awaited debut LP "The Legend Of Yeti Gonzales". The band made no compromises, producing, mixing and even mastering the entire record so that the sound is that of Yeti and no one else. The album's lead-off single "Don't Go Back To The One You Love" is a psychedelic monster of an epic that is an amalgamation of three separate songs from three different genres.  There will not be another track released by anyone that sounds remotely like this in 2008 - GUARANTEED. The single will be available in stores in both CD & 7" format on May 26.  Also be sure to catch the new video , which features Jane Birkin in a Mustang being chased by a gang of Serbian disney-cops (more details at http://www.yetiintelligence.com). 7” 01. About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
