Swords Of Truth by These New Puritans

I've taken one indie album home this year... it was the These New Puritans album. I think it's great... I like their energy... I'd like to put it in a crystal and sell it in my new age shop called 'one light'. You should come down... you'll be spiritually enriched. Listening to 'Swords of Truth' you'll realise how much better they are than most of the indie bands out there.... I love the spiky guitars, me.... The beat reminds me a bit of Get Yr Freak On (Missy Elliott) as well. Totally great tune.... whoever has chosen the singles to release off this album has done a really good job cos they've all my favourite tracks! Smashing....if you don't buy this your a complete knob

‘Swords Of Truth’ is the audacious new single, and most striking track from These New Puritans' ‘Beat Pyramid’ album, and is a perfect distillation of the band's essence.
Beginning with a fanfare of horn samples, the track pounds with a nervy dubstep-inspired beat and Jack Barnett's estuary-accented half-rapped vocals - an abstract narrative named after terrorist group Swords Of Truth Brigade - build, one voice layered over another, culminating in a linguistic explosion.  The 12" features the amazing DFA remix (Tim Goldsworthy, The Loving Hand) of Navigate, Navigate
