First commercial single taken from A.Human’s debut album ‘Third Hand Prophecy’ an ingenious mix of oddball literary musings and pulsing electro rock.
A. Human are the new breed. Dirty. Strange. Slightly deranged. And very real. Be prepared to get hooked on their full on electro-androgyny rock fronted by a Shakespearean-esque storyteller singer who tells tales of fantasy and reality in the same sex fluid dripping breath.
‘Black Moon’ is the first commercial single from this London 6 piece, and comes produced and mixed by Tim Holmes of legendary Death In Vegas fame. Having previously release a Ltd edition 10” of Americas classic ‘A Horse With No name’, ‘Black Moon’ properly introduces you to singer Dave Human’s oddball literary musings. ‘Black Moon’ is a psycho-monologue about a women with knives for hands and men with deer heads and the single ingeniously couples these musings with deep, pulsing, analogue basslines, and razorsharp guitars.
The package is split across three formats, one 7” and two download bundles, and comes with B Side ‘Trees Sway’, a Justus Kohncke (of Kompakt) remix who delivers a lush synth laden minimal excursion, and the Dr Strangelove remix which jacks everything up for peaktime floors whilst retaining the full vocal and analogue melodies.
