What we say This record left our Phil feeling unmoved. Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip has a new 7"/CD called 'Look For The Woman' out on Lex Records. After the debut single which was kind of OK but annoying after a couple of listens I've not really liked much else by them I've heard. This new single sounds like a cross between Moby & The Streets. If I was in the band and read that I'd be really fucked off that someone had written that. It's a sort of quasi hip hop ballad.... I like the snare drum sound.... About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
