Black Tide - Shockwave

Shockwave by Black Tide

Black Tide burst onto the hard rock scene late last year in a roar of whaling guitars, thrashing drums and youthful exuberance. They rocked the mainstage at Ozzfest, released their hotly anticipated debut album, hit the road and didn’t look back.

Since then this Miami four piece have toured relentlessly; supporting Avenged Sevenfold on the UK leg of their tour, causing mayhem at South By Southwest and playing a load of dates across the US. Now, as they announce the UK release of their debut single, Shockwave on April 21st – strictly limited and numbered 1000 collectable 7” Vinyls - the band also prepare to headline their own UK tour in April. Giving their ever growing fan base exactly what they want. Explosive metal. Delivered with the kind of attitude, energy and charisma that only Black Tide can.

Light From Above, Black Tide’s debut album returns the power to metal. Produced by the legendary Johnny K (Disturbed, Machine Head, Soil), the album opens with the explosive new single Shockwave, a storming track full of knuckled thrash riffs, squealing guitars, rampaging drums and an instantly memorable chorus.

With musical influences ranging from classic metal, to Motley Crue-inspired rock ‘n’ roll, alongside a punk rock spirit and a virtuosity to be reckoned with, the band deliver it all with an infectious, youthful enthusiasm. Aged between just 15 and 19, Gabriel (lead vocals), Alex (lead/rhythm guitar), Zakk (bass) and Steven (drums) are ushering in one hell of a coming of age for heavy metal.
