Ant here kick starting my day with a tasty brew and this here Scorn 'Super Mantis' 12" and it's a fine way to begin the day. Birmingham's master of all things slow, dark and heavy has created a monster of a bass heavy tune. Loosley within the dubstep template, it sounds like he's been inspired by the current wave of producers but his approach to the genre, much like the Bug's approach to dancehall is simply crushing and heavy as a truck full of lead. The drums are crisp as hell and the bottom end is totally shuddering. If you're diggin his current Stealth album or are into Vex'd then you'll want this piece of wax that comes with a Black Mass Plastics remix on the flip.Tracklisting:
