We have a limited 10" with art booklet all the way from sunny Ireland. Frend Volume One essentially a showcase for some fine visual artists and singer songwriters that include Adrian Crowley, Goodtime John, MeNoFemBo ( Úna Mullally), and More Tiny Giants. The visual artists contributions come from. Lili Forberg, Aoife De Búrca, Ben Mullen and Caromy Corcoran AKA Crot, Laura Buckley, Sarah Fox, Patrick Mullen, Goodtime John and Adrian Crowley. I must admit that I'm only familiar with Adrian Crowley and Goodtime John so it's refreshing to be exposed to some new talent. I'd love to go out on the piss in Ireland with Goodtime John. They serve pints of Smirnoff Ice there. No wonder Shane Mcgowan's got no teeth.March 7th 2008 marks the first release by Angel She’s A Killer, which will be launched in SPY, 6-9pm.
The album, entitled ‘Frend’ released only on 10”vinyl, features four songs from four artists and artwork from eight visual artists. The musicians include Choice Music nominee Adrian Crowley, Goodtime John (Trust me I’m a Thief), MeNoFemBo- the musical project of journalist Úna Mullally, and More Tiny Giants.
The visual artists include Lili Forberg, Aoife De Búrca, Ben Mullen (Team YES*) & Caromy Corcoran AKA Crot, Laura Buckley, Sarah Fox, Patrick Mullen, Goodtime John and Adrian Crowley.
‘Frend’ is the first of a series of albums celebrating art and music that is set to grow.
The second installment will be in June 2008 and will celebrate all that is Canadian and good!
