Charles Speer and The Helix) and Carter Thornton (Izititiz, Zashiki Warashi). 'Beisbol' is a double album on Three Lobed of free flowing avant/ improv that really wanders all over the place, completely unrestrained. The piano gives a bit of a jazz feel to proceedings. The guitar playing vary's from country sounds to folk and psyche. You really cant pin this one down...This baby is limited to 679 copies and comes with a CD featuring the tracks from the vinyl.brainchild of david shuford (no neck blues band, d. charles speer and the helix), marc orleans (sunburned hand of the man, d. charles speer and the helix) and carter thornton (izititiz, zashiki warashi), /béisbol/ is a full-fledged continuation of the musical ideals that the band has previously set forth within /on sunday, saloth sar /and /on the shores of jupiter/. this one will be from an edition of 679 copies and we're working on some more elaborate text for this one. we are doing the best we can to be totally oh-so-appropriate and have this one ready for release on MLB's opening day (but it might be a week afterwards - unsure as of this message). the record is pressed on two slabs of 180 gram RTI vinyl and packed within a theme-appropriate sleeve with two-sided full-color insert. packed in with the record is a CD containing the material present on the vinyl for ease of listening at any time.
