John Fahey - Visits Washington D.C.

Visits Washington D.C. by John Fahey

·    First time ever release on CD for this 1979 album.

·    All are solo performances apart from the medley on track one, where Fahey is accompanies by fellow-Takoma artist Richard Ruskin. This was Fahey’s first album in five years, during which time he had sold Takoma to Chrysalis.

·    Fahey’s lengthy and rambling original notes are included, along with a more concise and understandable note from Kris Needs.

1.    MEDLEY: SILVER BELL / CHEYENNE
2.    ANN ARBOR
3.    THE DISCOVERY OF THE SYLVIA SCOTT
4.    GUITAR LAMENTO
5.    MELODY McBAD
6.    THE GRAND FINALE
