3 years in the making it is a work of art. Poetic, melodic and well worth the wait.
Highlights is the first release from the band since their critically aclaimed 2004 debut 'Abba Are the Enemy'. Where 'Abba' was a brash 200 mph Punk/Garage dash through topical subjects such as reality television, the Pop parade and War Mongering, 'Highlights' sees the band developing along a much more melodic soulfull train of thought. Songs touch on such universal themes as love (Highlights), Religion ('All My Time'), Lions ('Venomous) Credit Crunch ('Kick out The Clocks') and the pretentious Manchester district of Chorlton Cum Hardy, which Tom can't afford to buy a house in and is not all at all bitter about ('EverGreen').
