The Dead Science:White Mane (Tomlab) Letter V in Tomlab's continuing series of 7" singles plays at 45 but could easily be played a 33 as it's a slow coach crawl with semi-whispered vocals, thrummed guitar and barely there bass and drums. I started listening to it at the slower pace and it's hardly made any odds at all except, now I can just about hear the airy washes that seep through the mix. On the flip is a Make Mine Marvel remix, which comes over all clipped and staccato. There's a piano refrain and an elongated drama. Makes me think of the Birthday Party fronted by a female whispering Nick Cave

Features a remix of a track from the forthcoming album ‘Villainaire’ plus ‘White Mane’.
