Another new dubstep label takes it’s bow with the first release courtesy of Rakoon. The A side ‘Warrior Dub’ is a dark, dirty, hard hitter, featuring killer analogue synth stabs and the obligatory chest crushing sub bass, with some atmospheric movie dialogue breakdowns adding to the tension and release. The B side ‘Barry’ is a more techo-centric affair, but when it drops it still hits hard with a complex wobbling bassline and a snare that slaps you in the face.
