The ever prolific Machinefabriek has a new album out. This one is a collaboration with Freiband (Frans De Waard) on Gareth Hardwick's Low Point label. It's called 'Oahu' and it's an interesting beast. It starts off with a short 90 second segement of improvised lapsteel which is all bluesy and that. Then you get 2 tracks of delicious atmospherics, drones and tones all created from that original track. The tracks were bounced back from the 2 artists who ceated 30 second segements and they arsed about with 'em all until they were happy and had come to a point where they felt their work was done. We're left this stunning album of experimental electronics which will keep you immersed in it's good self for the duration. I reckon this is a proper headphones album. Well tasty! We calculate your shipping costs by taking the heaviest item in your order and calculating that at the 'Heaviest Item' price. Each additional item in your order is then charged at the 'Additional Item' price.
