What the label says:

Introductory single for Toob's forthcoming second album.  Toob are Rich Thair (drummer of Red Snapper) and Jakeone (some-times collaborator with Red Snapper).    Toob's first releases were on Groovetech and Jake's club label Flameboy.

Their acclaimed first album ‘How To Spell Toob’ was released in 2005 on Lo Recordings.   The singles ‘The Miscreant’ and ‘4 Walls’ created quite a stir with DJs across the board in the UK and Europe.
Toob perform regularly live in clubs and festivals around the UK and Europe. Their simple set-up of Rich on live drums and Jake on synths, laptop and more recently on vocals has been shaped into a crack unit of blistering electro breakfunk, resulting in the new album ‘Push Me, Pull You’, due in June 2008.

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
