Unkle: 'Restless' Feat. Josh Homme (Surrender All) I had to be told who Josh Homme is, so it just goes to show what I know about modern day rawk. I'm tempted to really diss this but I don't fancy just blatantly saying it's shit without explaining why. Sounds like a seventies style glam rock oddity with chainsaw guitars, theremin synth lines and handclaps-I'm a sucker for handclaps, but I can't help thinking of The Sweet. The sort of music designed for humongous stadiums with a backstage area twice as big as the arena itself (and that's just for the so-called VIP's).Lame Lavelle indeed!Third single to be taken from UNKLE’s critically-acclaimed new album featuring Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age).
UNKLE’s new single, featuring Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age, is accompanied by a UK headline tour in February and March
Follows Unkle’s sold out Roundhouse date in London in November 2007. The single, released on strictly limited edition 7” and digital download, features an exclusive Ed Bangers all-star remix. UNKLE were recently a main feature on a Guardian podcast.
