What the label says:

Skull Disco’s latest is a collaboration between the well regarded producers of minimal dubwise beats, Appleblim and Peverelist. Whilst Appleblim will need no introduction to Skull Disco’s followers or ravers at the legendary Forward club where he is resident DJ, Peverelist has also been making waves of his own with some sublime releases on his Punch Drunk label, alerting the interest of everyone from traditional dubheads, to established radio DJs such as Mary Anne Hobbs, to techno selectors like Luciano and Villalobos. This joint effort has brought out the absolute best in both producers, the end result being two outstanding tracks with the most depth and complexity yet on a Skull Disco release.

About the humble 12":

The 12" is the big brother of records as it's an fatter version of the 7", with a vast scope for an array of remixes and B sides. They are slightly less portable their smaller inched brethren but they're by no means inferior. Often the grooves are spaced wider apart and thus sound much much better. You can fit ample tracks on and if worse comes to worse they make fine plates (should your crockery go awol). Yes, there's a hole but holes are easy to sort out. Once again they're available on many different colours and guises. The best thing about a 12" is the potential vastness of the artwork. Also playable on many speeds!!
