Rustie Feat. 215 The Freshest Kids: Cafe De Phresh (Stuff) Touted as the next big thing...and i'm not really sure what all the fuss is about. I thought Rustie was from Scotland, all I can hear are some American sounding MC's rhymng over some old school sounding electro influenced Miami Bass. I've decided to flip it over so I'm not distracted by the off putting lyrics that refer to trainers as 'kicks'. Still the music sounds like the soundtrack to some low rent pole dancing/exercise dvd. I don't know why, I just can't get with it..it's like music to sell a thousand computer games to numb kids. I'd really like to hear what some of those Scot's MC's are saying-if there are any. The music is well executed but...oh I don't know, maybe I just don't wanna be down with what the hooded kids are into.

With everyone still drooling over his debut EP ‘Jagz The Smack’, Rustie is back with a brand new record. On Side A Leezle and Vortex let loose all over Rustie's beats, reminding us that hip hop is about partying, ladies and most of all having a dope sneaker collection. B-side is strictly for the instrumentals - think Drexciya style synth flourishes meets low-end dirty hip hop swagger. First 500 come in a screen printed 80s graffiti inspired sleeve.
