These days we're inundated with ambient music, drones, tones and automobiles. It seems to be more popular than ever. Here's some more drones and tones by talkingmakesnosense Dominic Dixon on Benbecula records. It's part of their Mineral series of CD's of which we've had a couple. They seem to be pretty good quality from what I've heard so far! 'The Winter Drones' is more of what Mingus called Methadone music.... I called it Methadrone music cos I'm irritating like the guy who thought of Nu Gaze. Speaking of which this has a very slight shoegazey feel to it but it's more warm ambience which sounds like some of the Milieu stuff we love to bits. If you're into the Infraction gear you'll like this!Track Listing

Dominic Dixon returns after his full length debut on Minerals in 2006 with a snail's pace journey into the reverberating thick broth that is a Scottish winter. So curl up into front of a log fire with an oak cup of mulled wine and drop out to the shimmering reverberations with a weak pulse.
