A Toys Orchestra - Technicolor Dreams

Technicolor Dreams by A Toys Orchestra

The "young team" from the south of Italy is back! Their new full-length is hysteric but yet romantic, it's surprisingly mature and deep, inspired and dreamy. We left those boys and girls still "sauvage" as the  feeling that was overwhelming from their last release (Cuckoo Boohoo 2005 urtovox) that crossed the heart of many indie-rockers. Now here they are fully aware of their skills, they kept on growing and have also been able to put out an album that's simply catchy. The thick production gives an international dimension to this wonderful combo. For fans of Pink Floyd, David Bowie & Blonde Redhead. They use a legendary and often surreal language that merges perfectly with a musical structure made up by splendid arrangements which never makes heavy the structure of the passages,  enriching their good taste with a wide scale of colours and nuances. Through the skilled artistic production of Dustin O’Halloran -body and soul of the wonderful DEVICS, a Los Angeles band well know by the most experienced and autor of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoniette sound-track, A Toys Orchestra have been able to focuse their genial musical intuitions, giving a real shape to their lovely inspiration full of yearning images (Santa Barbara), surreal characters (Mrs Macabrette),and sweet poetry (Powders on the words,Letter to myself) sometimes dramatic and Theatrical (Panic Attack #3). All that without betraying their rock roots (Ease off the bit,Cornice Dance,Amnesy International) where the progression of the passagies reaches exceptional levels and words change into strong and coloured images.
