Already leaders of the pack in the UK punk scene, The King Blues get ready for an assault on the mainstream with Mr Music Man, the latest single to be taken from their debut album for Field/Island Records.
The Hackney based band got their first break early 2006 when a home-recorded demo made it into the hands of Mike Davies of Radio 1’s The Lock Up, who gave the band repeated plays. Support from Zane Lowe soon followed after Mike passed him the CD and Field Recordings discovered the band at “In The City” in September 2006 where they won widespread acclaim from a panel of hardened new music critics
