Correcto - Correcto

Following on from two strikingly fresh and jagged singles, Domino Records are extremely proud to present what they believe to be one of Domino’s strongest debut albums, the self titled debut album from Glasgow four-piece Correcto.
The band act as a who’s who of the Glasgow creative scene, with the members inspired by fact, fiction, surrealism and the mundane, and with sounds reminiscent of the Buzzcocks, Kinks, Fall, Ramones; ‘all the good stuff’ as Danny Saunders puts it, the driving force who writes and sings on the Correcto tunes. Danny is known throughout Glasgow for various roles in bands throughout the years and soon began playing with Richard Wright, the accomplished artist who makes terrifyingly detailed paintings and works on paper, which will feature on the Correcto record sleeves. Paul Thomson from Franz Ferdinand soon joined Danny and Richard, using his break from Franz as an opportunity to play and record alongside his old friends from back in the Yummy Fur days. The band soon became complete with the addition of Patrick Doyle of fellow Glasgow band The Royal We and more recently of hot new Glasgow band Sexy Kids. Both singles ‘Joni’ and ‘Do It Better’ were punchy, sing-along anthems which were well received and critically acclaimed.
