The 3rd single for Look See Proof on Weekender sees more of the 4 pieces trademarked jittery arty pop. Whilst a magpie like approach means they draw on many influences they have a sound very much of their own whilst also being instantly familiar and a floor-filler to boot.
Produced by Russ Keffert (Larrikin Love) the single precedes the bands debut album set for a June 2nd release.

This year has seen the band tour extensively and gather fans at every juncture. They opened the John Peel stage at Glastonbury, arguably were the best received band at Amsterdam’s London Calling 3 day festival. Managed to fit in their first ever headline tour proper and a 22 date tour supporting The Twang which meant gigs in as venues such as Brixton Academy and Glasgow Barrowlands. They have headlined Koko on several occasions and put in showstealing performances at Truck, The Great Escape, Guilfest and the Camden Crawl. Trips abroad to Paris and Austria have seen them support the likes of Ash and The Pigeon Detectives.

An operation on lead singer Dave Sells means they have had to take a break from touring but will return in late Feb and are to tour heavily this year both headlining and with lucrative tour support slots. Expect festival dates in both the UK (Reading) and abroad (Frequency Vienna, Ibiza Rocks, Benicassim)
This year sees the band make their first moves into the US where they are playing SXSW and have been requested to play NME’s Friday showcase as well as a show for the BBC. Japanese, French and American deals are being considered so expect tours here and definite tours of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
