What the label says:

With his loyal, established fan base already clamouring for new material, and new converts springing up daily across the globe, one of Scotland's
fastest-rising artists and best-kept secrets, Ally Kerr, releases the brand new album, Off The Radar, on Much Obliged Records. Bursting
with delicious melodies, achingly beautiful harmonies and playful yet poignant lyrics, Off The Radar is a step up from the critically-acclaimed debut
album, Calling Out To You.  His limited edition debut EP Midst of the Storm, (released on 7-inch white vinyl by cult Spanish label Elefant Records alongside Lambchop, Camera Obscura) was already picking up airplay around the world resulting in his debut Calling Out To You receiving its UK release on Neon Tetra Records in 2005. Although echoes of Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub,  Kings Of Convenience, Simon and Garfunkel and many other artists resonate, Kerr's style is singularly distinctive and Off The Radar should surely give one of Scotland's shyest, most reserved, yet brightest musical talents the acclaim he richly deserves.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
