Hatcham Social - So Happy Making

So Happy Making by Hatcham Social

Hatcham Social seem to be very popular at the moment. Their 'So Happy Making' 7" on Loog has just found its way to me.. I reckon if they made as much effort with their music as they do with their hair then the results would better than this fairly average single. It's not terrible by any means but there's nothing that grabs me. Pretty bog standard guitar indie. The B-side is far more entertaining with its funky bassline and off kilter arrangement. Defo head for the B-side on this one. Ltd 7" only.

New LIMITED 7" from Loog. Reasons why LOOG love this single. 1. It sounds like Where The Wild Things Are, Alice In Wonderland, Orange Juice, The Pastels and The Jesus And Mary Chain. 2. It was produced by The Horrors' Faris Badwan. 3. It's brilliant.
