Rating: happy This record left our Ant feeling happy.

Land Of Talk are up next and are a far more interesting proposition with 'Speak to Me Bones'. This Canadian trio make good old fashioned indie rock. The female vocal is very cool. A little like a less aggressive Be Your Own pet. The Rhythm section are tight and this is fairly catchy but still has a rawness to it. 7" only on One Little Indian.

Following a brief spell touring the UK with The Decemberists last year, Canada’s most unashamedly rocking three-piece return to the UK in February with a run of supports alongside two of the most exciting bands in the alternative music scene today, with a headline show also to be confirmed.

Coinciding with this they will be releasing the spiky, exhilarating single ‘Speak To Me Bones’, bolstered by a live recording of rare track ‘It’s Okay’, available on 7” or as a download on 3 March 2008.
