Ettin - Let Us Be

Let Us Be by Ettin

Ettin are a young indie band from Brighton now featuring members of the Cure soundalikes fuzz appearance. The band have a rare ability to get everyone dancing at their gigs by diversifying their sound from indie pop, ska to drum’n’bass. Propelled by female vocalist ruby’s voice and lyrics, which sit somewhere between Lily Allen and Ari Up (The Slits), the band have built up a big following and pulled off lucrative support dates with Toots & the Maytals, The Slackers & Sonic boom six. The band’s debut album has just dropped on Do The Dog, so this will be a one-off single (limited to 250) with Summerisle township. Both these single tracks are not on the album and therefore exclusive to this release. Ettin will be on tour throughout the year

This is a great single featuring two tracks not on their debut CD ' Rise Yourself '. Excellent, joyful sounds, great to move around to, and typical of their live set - which is well worth catching if you get a chance.
