Throw Me The Statue - Moonbeams

Debut album from multi-instrumentalist Scott Reitherman’s Throw Me The Statue.   Throw Me The Statue features Casey Foubert, who is a member of Sufjan Stevens’, Richard Swift’s and Pedro The Lion’s touring band.
The album has been picking up a lot of blog-attention in the US and acclaim from the likes of Pitchfork and USA Today.   ‘Moonbeams’ has a sharp sense of melody with some cuttingly honest lyrics, a mixture of the magnetic fields, microphones and Eric’s trip.
Throw Me The Statue have UK tour plans in the works for later in 2008.
