I Was A Cub Scout - Pink Squares/ Echoes (Live)

Pink Squares/ Echoes (Live) by I Was A Cub Scout

Having originally been released in November 2006, ‘Pink Squares’ has been reworked with Hugh Padgham on production duties (The Police / Phil Collins) and sees them at their most epic sounding to date, with Todd Marriot’s gorgeous refrain of “Am I in trouble / Darling I apologise / I need you more than anything / please come back in to my life”.
New song ‘Echoes’, meanwhile, comes crashing in on a wave of pounding, frenetic drums and features backing vocals from pop-punk outfit Tonight Is Goodbye as well as Sam Scott from post-rockers Youthmovies playing trumpet. It’s without doubt one of the most ambitious sounding tracks I Was A Cub Scout have produced.
Both songs, along with previous single ‘Our Smallest Adventures’, will appear on their highly anticipated forthcoming debut album ‘I Want You To Know That There Is Always Hope’.
