1984 - Cache Cache

Cache Cache by 1984

This is the 1st UK release to come from the new and exciting Parisian three-piece 1984.  Blending classic elements of surf inspired 60s garage rock with New Wave and taking in the reference points of The Velvet Underground,  Joy Division and Franz Ferdinand along the way, 1984 have created an original and hypnotic sound.  Attracting attention and acclaim on the French Punk/Electro underground scene from notable figures such as pioneering multimedia artist DJ Dada,  their appeal looks set to crossover to the indie mainstream with their use of catchy dance hooks and addictive rhythms.

‘Cache Cache’ builds around a circular riff broken by choppy rhythms, tumbling guitars and cryptic lyrics, a device which adds to the feel of a classic spy film soundtrack.
