'Reset Start Again' is the debut album by Talk, the Shrewsbury four-piece, previously called Telex for their debut EP, which caught the eye of many at Radio One where first Steve Lamacq instigated their seven month stint at the top of his Unsigned chart and then by Huw Stephens who invited them to play at In The City in 2005. Their mix of electronica and post- and indie-rock, with rich sonic landscapes and hypnotic electro-beats over a backdrop of deep pulsing rhythms, gained much press praise. Being perfectionists, Talk have spent the best part of a year recording their new record recorded at their own studio in Shropshire. The bands sound now has a different dynamic - it has become more electronic and more eclectic. Meticulously placing beats, glitches and bleeps they have strived with this record to really combine both the digital world with organic soundscapes and traditional song based structures - layer upon layer have been recorded to produce a subtle yet full sound to the songs. "Epic melancholic soul laid bare melded to the dramatic intricacies of Sigor Ros and the intense bleakness of Radiohead at their emotive best…Genius!" - Subba Cultcha.
