Jason Collett - Here's To Being Here

Here's To Being Here by Jason Collett

"Continuing forward as not just a member of the Broken Social Scene crew, but also as a prolific solo act." - SPIN
JASON COLLETT has successfully carved out a solo career that is the more intimate and rootsy counterpart to BSS's celestial art-rock. His songs
follow a long, winding dirt road stretching from early 70's Stones and Springsteen to contemporary ragged rockers like Wilco and the Pernice Brothers.
Recorded with his touring band, Paso Mino, the collaboration gives the new material a sound closer to watching COLLETT live - they tracked most of
the record together as a full band in order to capture the essence of their stage performance..
Recorded and produced in Collett's hometown of Toronto, ON, by musician/producer Howie Beck, the album also features guest performances by
fellow Broken Social Scene member and Apostle of Hustle front man Andrew Whiteman, as well as long time friend Tony Scherr (Norah Jones, John
Scofield, Bill Frissell) and Liam O'Neil (The Stills) to name a few.
