After a mini stack of CD's it's nice to get my paws on some 10" vinyl... So here is a 5 track EP entitled '5 Spars' by Johan Hedberg who I'm told is one half of Suburban Kids With Biblical Names. This is Swedish pop music with electronics at the fore. It's sung in swedish language so I haven't a clue what this is about. The music is kind of electro-pop tinged with a warm summery vibe. Occasionally reminding me of Barbara Morgenstern.Johan Hedberg is one-half of Swedish Wunderkinder Suburban Kids with Biblical Names (check your stock!) and »5-spårs EP« (which translates as 5-track EP) is his first solo release on Labrador, via yesboyicecream in the UK. An intoxicating mix of electronica, world music and pop, this is the sound of a true pop genius. 5 songs about drinks, drunks, lovers and fighters. 10" VINYL.
