Odd collaboration of the week is Sheffield's master pranksters Kings Have Long Arms with the delightful Candie Payne. 'Big Umbrella' is a delightful song spun from an alternate radio pop universe. Phil is absolutely spot on when he references Dusty Springfield guesting on a Lemon Jelly/St. Etienne collaboration. It's a hazy timeless pop classic with loads of irresistible hooks, a chiming guitar, trumpet flourishes & swirling keyboards not to mention a glowing pop heart as big as Jupiter. Really addictive stuff indeed. Ltd 7" on Double Six.Upcoming electro music sensation Kings Have Long Arms come across all warm and fuzzy with the help of Candie Payne on this Christmas spirited track.
