Boris Morgana: 'Liquid Child' (Qbico) Second in our round up from Qbico records of Italy. This is a limited edition, maroon coloured vinyl release that explores the free form rock approach of Sunburned Hand Of The Man, No Neck Blues Band and the out there experiments of labels like Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace!. The sprawling, energetic scree that dominates much of side A takes in vocal theatrics as much as jazz influenced dynamic interplays. One can also hear the strains of former releases from local astronaunts Phil Todd (Ashtray Navigations) and Neil Campbell's side project Vibracathederal Orchestra. So if you like your music adventurous, it's probably worth checking out; Neokarma Jooklo Trio LP 'Solar Vision' and Qbico V Unite collaboration 'V Turkuu Finland' also on Qbico. Recommended.
