Kate Nash was the breakthrough sensation of 2007. Her debut single for Fiction Records - ‘Foundations’ went in at number 2 in the charts and became one of the years biggest hits, an anthem for anyone who's ever had relationship issues, so basically everyone!
Foundations was quickly followed by the number 1 album 'Made of Bricks' which was brought forward by six weeks due to the level of demand and certified gold after one week. It has now sold over 540,000 copies in the UK and almost 1 million worldwide. Foundations was followed by two more singles, Mouthwash and Pumpkin soup and the album reached platinum after touring to adoring crowds and festival appearances, including a nautical themed set at Glastonbury.
She has picked up several awards including, 2008 Brits 'Best Female' , 2007 Q Award 'Best Breakthrough Artist', and two NME awards.
Kate Nash is currently working on songs for her second album.
